Building ventures that stick around

Most startup advice sounds great until you actually try to use it. We skip the buzzwords and work with founders who want honest guidance on building something real. Based in Perth, we've spent years helping people turn ideas into businesses that actually function.

How we work
Venture building collaboration workspace

Three things we focus on instead of everything at once

Structure first

Before thinking about growth, we make sure the basics actually work. Legal setup, financial tracking, proper documentation. The boring stuff that saves you later.

Market testing

You can't know if something works until real people use it. We help you test assumptions quickly and adjust based on what actually happens, not what you hope happens.

Cash awareness

Most ventures fail because they run out of money, not because they ran out of ideas. We help you understand your numbers and make decisions that keep you operational.

What working together looks like over six months

01 Weeks 1-4

Getting the foundation right

We start by looking at what you have and what you actually need. This means going through your business model, checking if your structure makes sense, and identifying gaps that might cause problems later. You'll leave this phase with clear documentation and a realistic picture of where things stand.

02 Weeks 5-12

Testing with real users

This is where theory meets reality. You'll put your offering in front of actual potential customers and see what happens. We help you design these tests, interpret feedback, and decide what changes make sense. Some of what you learn will be uncomfortable, but better now than after you've spent everything.

03 Weeks 13-24

Building sustainable systems

Once you know what works, we help you create systems that let it keep working without constant firefighting. This includes setting up proper financial tracking, establishing operational processes, and building the infrastructure you need to scale when the time is right.

A recent project that taught us something

Venture development case study workspace

Health tech platform in Melbourne

Worked with founders who had built a telehealth booking system but couldn't get clinics to actually use it. Turned out their pricing model made no sense for small practices.

We spent two months just talking to clinic managers. Changed the entire approach from subscription to transaction-based pricing. Now they have 23 active clinics and the founders understand their market properly.

The hardest part wasn't the technical changes. It was convincing the founders to throw out their original pricing strategy after they'd spent months building around it. Sometimes the best progress comes from admitting what isn't working.

Venture builder and business advisor

Why we started this

After watching too many good ideas fail because founders got terrible advice from people who'd never actually built anything themselves, I figured there had to be a better way. Not everyone needs venture capital. Not everyone should be aiming for explosive growth. Some businesses just need proper guidance and room to develop at their own pace.

We work with founders who are tired of being told to "disrupt industries" and just want help building something sustainable. If that's you, we should probably talk.
